Getting Ready for School

Starting primary school (or 'Big School') is an exciting milestone for your family. The transition to primary school both challenging and exciting.

Help your child through the transition by:

• encouraging them to explore their feelings
• helping them connect to their school
• supporting them in building friendships and relationships

• empowering them to build their confidence and independence.

School Calendars

We have 4 terms each year. The first 1-4 days of each school term are for staff only and students do not attend. These are called school development days. Students are expected to attend school every day, unless they are not well.

Our school calendar is regularly updated with special events, excursions and plans.
